About
Angela Chafee
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 13 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate emotional, relational, and family challenges. I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves and with the people most important to them. My work focuses on relationships, attachment patterns, communication difficulties, and the emotional dynamics that can leave people feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
I provide individual and couples therapy, as well as consultation for parenting challenges and relationship concerns. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship conflict, family discord, and the lasting impact of emotionally complex or addiction-affected relationships.

My Approach
Authentic, Compassionate, Honest...
I am trained in a variety of modalities which allows me to individualize my approach to your needs and worldview. Often, our work focuses on symptom relief and skill building. We may explore emotions and underlying needs, and relational patterns with an emphasis on how your current behaviors may or may not be serving you now. I have a deep respect for human resilience and I see all behaviors, whether they are beneficial in the present or not, as having been adaptive and necessary at one time. Our exploration will likely honor function of your current behaviors, and provide you an opportunity to respond in a different way now. I am a compassionate soul. I believe connection and compassion, as well as personal responsibility are keys to healing.
